What it does

A skill for drawing editorial-quality diagrams with a coding agent. Its authors say it covers 45 diagram types and makes self-contained HTML and SVG files in a clean style, rather than default Mermaid output. It works with Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor and other agents.

Who it’s for

Writers, engineers and teams who put diagrams in documents, posts or slides and want them to look designed.

Install

Copy the skill folders you want (each has a SKILL.md) into your Claude Code skills folder:

git clone https://github.com/cathrynlavery/diagram-design.git
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
# Pick the folders with a SKILL.md inside diagram-design/
cp -r diagram-design/<skill-folder> ~/.claude/skills/

Claude Code loads a skill on its own when a task fits it; ask for the task as you normally would.
