What it does

A library of example Agent Skills published by Anthropic. Each skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file of instructions, plus any scripts or files it needs, which Claude loads only when a task calls for it. The library covers creative work, development tasks and document work such as spreadsheets, slides and PDFs.

Anyone starting with Agent Skills in Claude Code or the Claude apps, and teams who want a reference for writing their own.

Install

Copy the skill folders you want (each has a SKILL.md) into your Claude Code skills folder:

git clone https://github.com/anthropics/skills.git
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
# Pick the folders with a SKILL.md inside skills/
cp -r skills/<skill-folder> ~/.claude/skills/

Claude Code loads a skill on its own when a task fits it; ask for the task as you normally would.

No licence: viewing only. Ask its authors before you copy or use its code.
