What it does

Atlassian's remote MCP server. It connects an agent to Jira and Confluence in the cloud, so it can search, create and update issues and pages within your own permissions.

Install

Register the server with Claude Code. Its start command is in the repository's README:

claude mcp add atlassian-mcp-server -- <start-command-from-the-README>
claude mcp list

Run /mcp in Claude Code to check the server is connected and see its tools.
