Lüttel Baker, a family bakery, reduced its energy costs by 50% by integrating Tesla's solar panels and Powerwall into its operations.
The challenge
Peter Lüttel's family bakery, established 116 years ago, was facing high electricity costs for its baking operations. Electricity is the preferred method for baking but is also the most expensive.
The solution
The bakery installed Tesla's PV system and battery storage to power its ovens, alongside cogeneration units. They also installed a Tesla Wall Connector for customers, visitors, and field staff to charge their cars on-site.
The results
Reduced fuel consumption by 50% and electricity bill by 50%, despite adding another electric oven. Customers can also charge their cars on-site.

It was truly groundbreaking—no one had tried this before. And many people were extremely skeptical at first. It’s been a very exciting journey, and now everything is running pretty much perfectly.
